  • Details

1. Cassava starch coming from the starch slurry making tank is pumped into the slurry preparation tank. By adding water the concentration is adjusted to about 18°bé, then pH value is adjusted to about 6.0, finally liquefying amylase is added.


2. The prepared starch slurry is pumped into the feeding tank in which it is pre-heated to about50℃. Then it is pumped into an ejector for cooking. After ejection its temperature is controlled at110℃for 5-10 minutes, then it is cooled down to100℃in a very short time and insulated for about 2 hours. After killing amylase it is cooled down again to 58-60℃in a very short time.


3. The amylase is added immediately and the slurry is pumped into saccharification tank. It takes about 40 hours for saccharification. When the saccharification liquid reaches the required DE value, it is heated to70℃immediately.


4. Then it is fed to the first stage decoloration tank and is discolored for more than 30 minutes after adding active carbon just used once.


5. After filtering and removing of carbon and protein, the clarified liquid comes to the second stage decoloration tank in which it is discolored for more than 30 minutes by adding new active carbon.


6. After filtering and removing of carbon again, the carbon is discharged to the first stage decoloration tank and the filtered liquid is transported into the prepare tank for ion exchange.


7. When the liquid is cooled down to below50℃, it is fed to the ion exchange system for salt removing. 


8. The refined liquid then comes to the triple-effect evaporator to be concentrated to the required value. After that, it is pumped to the final product tank
