二、Structure and principle
The VACUUM FILTER is made of the bracket,main shaft ,electrical machine,gear motor,feeding connection port,filter trough,stream cut,recycling connection port,stirring motor,rinse water inlet,sir scraper,vacuum connection port,inspection manhole,rotary drum,stirring motor,filter cloth.
The surface of horizontal rotating drum is cover with a layer of filtration fabric with a certain mesh size,a supporting net work is installed between filter cloth and porous cylindrical shell,rotary drum pass through filter tank,a certain level height of starch slurry that need to be dehydrated is loaded in filter tank.through the connection between vacuum pump and vacuum tube,the internal pressure of the drum is reduced to 1bar. Due to the pressure difference inside and outside of drum,liquid part of the starch slurry will pass the filter cloth and get inside the drum,it will be pump out through the connection tube between filtration pump and vacuum pipe.the solid starch in the starch slurry can’t pass through the filter cloth and thus stay at the surface of the drum where the pneumatic scraper scratch it out before roller surface immerse in starch slurry.it drops into the belt conveyor and then turn to the next working procedure.
